4th of July at the Lake VOLUNTEERS
The 4th of July event requires a large number of volunteer hours to produce. Prior to the event, arrangements must be made for for the performers, security, parking, concessionaires, children's activities, support from the recreation district, etc. A publicity program, including advertising in local media and distributing posters throughout the community, must be planned and executed. For the event day, volunteers must be recruited and coordinated to assist with set up and tear down, ticket sales, grounds control, children's activities and liaison with the orchestras.
